Stuart & Colchuck Running

Stuart & Colchuck Running

Leavenworth in the spring. Everything’s blooming. The air feels so fresh!

When you’re running the environment becomes this blur of vibrant colors.
At the same time, it feels like we figured out how to slow down time and fit in more distances, sites, and experiences into each adventure.

Can’t wait to see where our feet take us.

Lessons learned: a lot of snow can melt in one week. We didn’t need poles. We used traction spikes for our sneakers leading up to Stuart Lake but would’ve been fine without them. We were spooked from last week’s snow on the same run. 1 week of 80-degree weather does a lot!

Adventures earned: It’s still early season by some standards, so there weren’t a ton of people on the trail. Awesome to feel like we had the places to ourselves. Stoked to link up  both of these awesome lakes!
